• Don’t show a complex figure all at once

• Reveal the figure components iteratively

• Especially true for small-multiple graphics, but applicable even for a single plot

• Mostly applicable in presentations, scrollytelling, etc.

• Hard to do for a single-graphic post (e.g. to social media)
